V27-1323 : UNAUTHORISED ALTERATIONS TO LISTED BUILDING

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control sought authority to pursue enforcement notices as a result of unauthorised alterations carried out to eight Grade II listed buildings. The Director also advised that a letter had been sent to all local purveyors of double glazing to ensure they were aware of the regulations concerning listed buildings, and a further letter would be sent to residents of conservation areas.

RESOLVED

1. That the Director of Planning and Building Control be authorised to serve listed building enforcement notices in respect of the following listed buildings:

17 Rectory Street, Halesworth
93 London Road, Halesworth
Church Farm House, Steeple End, Halesworth
The Ship, Lower Olland Street, Bungay
54 London Road, Halesworth
55 London Road, Halesworth
57 London Road, Halesworth
5/7 High Street, Wrentham
2. That, in the event of non-compliance, the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action, including prosecution, to achieve compliance with the Notices.
