Application for erection of detached garage.
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined an application for a detached garage/workshop located on the front of the above property. The proposed location of the garage would be very dominant in the street scene and out of character with the surrounding development. As suggested by the Parish Council, a more acceptable location for a new garage would be on the site of the existing shed and in line with the front wall of the main dwelling. This siting would be far less dominant on the street scene, but the application as it stood could not be recommended.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be refused to application W17348.
