Application for construction of a detached house and garage - renewal of consent W6866/5. The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that the above application was to renew the consent for which members had just approved reserved matters. Seven objections had been received as set out in the previous application. Since the original approval in 1978, more children were brought to the school by car, and the cul- de-sac was often congested at peak times. The Highway Authority was also concerned that further vehicle movements would be unsuitable. The Director recommended refusal. The Chief Executive advised that, since reserved matters had been approved within the time limit, this had the effect of keeping the outline approval alive, and even if members were to refuse renewal of the outline, the applicant would still be able to build the house. RESOLVED
That planning permission be granted to application W6866/6.
