V27-1291 : MINUTES

The minutes of the last meeting held on 11 October 1999 were confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman, subject to the following amendments:

(a) The addition of the following sentence at the end of paragraph 6:
"The impact of the building when seen from the south across the open plateau would be considerable due to the lack of natural features, and screening would be needed."

(b) The final sentence in paragraph 7 to read:
"The Highway Authority advised that any increase over and above that proposed from this development would be unacceptable, and so the determining factor of the application was the value of the company to the local economy."
