V27-128 : OPTIONS APPRAISAL WHITTON COURT AND COPPICE COURT, LOWESTOFT

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services examined options put forward by the Council's Project Appraisal Team for the refurbishment or site redevelopment of Coppice Court and Whitton Court, Lowestoft, as both schemes were carrying long term voids in bedsit flats.

RESOLVED

1. That Option Three, as detailed in the report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services, involving the conversion of three bedsit flats into two one- bedroom flats, be approved for Whitton Court, Lowestoft, resulting in up to 28 one- bedroom flats at an estimated cost of up to £35k per unit.

2. That no decision be taken yet on the future of Coppice Court, Lowestoft
