V27-1275 : BETTER CARE FOR LOCAL PEOPLE - LOWESTOFT PRIMARY CARE GROUP

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as it had been omitted from the original draft of the Agenda.

The report reminded members that the Lowestoft Primary Care Group had applied for Trust status with effect from 1 October 2000. The decision was subject to a period of consultation ending in early May 2000.

RESOLVED

1. That a Working Party be appointed to consider the Lowestoft PCG application for Trust Status.

2. That Councillors Robertson, Rodgers, Rouse, Shepherd and Thomson be appointed to the Lowestoft PCG Working Party for 1999/2000 and attendance be authorised as an approved duty.
