V27-1272 : ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CONFERENCE 2000
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services considered the appointment of delegates to attend this year's Environmental Health Conference. Members felt that in view of the present economic situation there was little to be gleaned in sending a delegate to the conference.
RESOLVED
1. That no delegate be sent to the Environmental Health Conference at Harrogate in September 2000.
2. That the Suffolk Local Government Association be asked to consider nominating a delegate to attend the Conference and reporting back to the constituent members.
