V27-124 : RENTAL DEPOSIT GUARANTEE SCHEME
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services gave an update on the Rental Deposit Guarantee Scheme since its introduction in 1996. The Scheme had assisted 19 applicants with re-housing to assured shorthold tenancies, and of these, five had resulted in some bond money being paid out, nine had resulted in bond money not being paid out and the remainder were currently still guaranteed.
RESOLVED
That the Rental Deposit Guarantee Scheme set up at minute V23-253/7 be continued.
