V27-1225 : MILLENNIUM VOLUNTEERS
The report of the Director of Community Services detailed Suffolk County Council's success in achieving a DFEE grant for £303,800 towards a Millennium Volunteers Scheme. Waveney had been asked to take a partnership role in delivering a Scheme, and details of the Council's involvement were provided.
RESOLVED
1. That the Committee congratulate Suffolk County Council on achieving the Millennium Volunteer grant, and that the Council confirm its participation as a partner in the project.
2. That the £5,000 Youth Forum budget for 2000/01 be made available for Millennium Volunteer Projects partnership funding on a project by project request basis.
