V27-1223 : BACK LANE LOUND - SURFACE WATER IMPROVEMENTS
The report of the Director of Community Services outlined the development of proposals to reduce the risk of flooding to properties in Back Lane, Lound, and sought confirmation of the Director's action, in consultation with the Chairman, in accepting a tender to carry out the improvement works.
Due to the severity of past flooding the improvements were urgent, and the report requested authority for any shortfall in funds to be met from the 2000/2001 Land Drainage budget. RESOLVED
That the action of the Director of Community Services, in consultation with the Chairman, in accepting the tender for £15,596.00 for improvements to drainage in Lound, be confirmed, and that if necessary the shortfall in funds be met from the 2000/2001 Land Drainage Budget.
