V27-1222 : BENACRE NESS TO THORPENESS COASTAL STUDY - EXTENSION OF STUDY BOUNDA
The report of the Director of Community Services proposed extension of the coverage of the above study northward to Lowestoft Ness, and examined the financial impact of the extension and the implications upon the study output programme.
RESOLVED
1. That the Director of Community Services be authorised to vary the current Benacre Ness to Thorpeness Coastal Strategy Study to increase the coverage northward to Lowestoft Ness at a cost estimated at £35,000, of which the Council's contribution is £10,500, to be funded from the 2000/01 capital programme.
2. That the Council accept the full additional cost of the variation, subject to any contribution from the Port Authority which may be negotiated by the Director of Community Services.
3. That 1 and 2 above be conditional upon recommendation 1 works receiving MAFF approval for grant aid, and thereby attracting Supplementary Credit Approval. * No Budget Provision
