V27-1199 : NOTICES OF MOTION

Councillor Cracknell proposed and Councillor Crisp seconded the following motion:

"The planning application of a large scale or contentious nature appertaining to Beccles, Bungay and surrounding parishes be heard by Development Control meetings held in Beccles".

Councillor Shepherd moved and Councillor Young seconded an amendment as follows:

"That planning applications of a large scale or contentious nature appertaining to Beccles, Bungay, Halesworth, Southwold and surrounding parishes be heard by Development Control meetings held in Beccles, Bungay, Halesworth and Southwold."

Councillor Shepherd's amendment, on being put, was lost.

The substantive motion on being put was also lost.
