V27-118 : THE REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT OF AIR QUALITY WITHIN WAVENEY DISTRICT (ST
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services commented on the above document, which was circulated separately to members, that had been produced in accordance with the Council's duties to periodically review air quality in its area under the Environment Act 1995
The document stated that three pollutants, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide and PM10 fine particles, would require a more detailed review and assessment. This would be undertaken in stage two, and possibly stage three, of the review and assessment process, fulfilling the Authority's statutory obligation under the provisions of the Act.
RESOLVED
That "The Review and Assessment of Air Quality within Waveney District (Stage 1)" be received and copies forwarded to the statutory consultees and made available to other interested parties.
