V27-1169 : SUFFOLK DEVELOPMENT AGENCY - WAVENEY TASK GROUP

The report of the Chief Executive outlined the establishment of a Waveney Task Group under the Suffolk Development Agency Board with responsibility for formulating action plans and managing their implementation for the strategic priority of Waveney.

The report proposed the appointment of Councillor Holzer, representing Economic Development, and Councillor Kelly, representing Tourism, as the Council's representatives on the Waveney Task Group, and the endorsement of Councillor Bostock's appointment, who as vice-chairman of the SDA Board sat on the Task Group as of right.

RESOLVED

1. That the appointment of Councillor Bostock as a Council representative on the Suffolk Development Agency Waveney Task Group be endorsed, and that Councillors Holzer and Kelly be appointment as the Council's other representatives on the Task Group.

2. That attendance at meetings of the Suffolk Development Agency Waveney Task Group be authorised as an approved duty.
