V27-116 : WORKING PARTIES AND REVIEW BOARDS

RESOLVED

1. That the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Committee and Councillors Blowers, Cherry, Coward, Crisp, Goldsmith, Leverett, Robertson, Rodgers, Spoor and J. Winterton be appointed to the Housing Benefits Review Board for 1999/2000.

2. That the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Committee and Councillors Austin, Blowers, Cherry, Coward, Crisp, Leverett, Robertson, Rodgers, Spoor and J. Winterton be appointed to the Homelessness Review Board for 1999/2000.

3. That the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Committee and Councillors Aldous, Blowers, Cherry, Coward, Crisp, Leverett, Robertson, Rodgers, Spoor and J. Winterton be appointed to the Introductory Tenancy Review Board for 1999/2000.

4. That Mr. John Riches be appointed as independent Chairman of the Housing Benefits Review Board, the Homelessness Review Board and the Introductory Tenancy Review Board for 1999/2000.

5. That in accordance with minute V25-705 business at any meeting of the Housing Benefits Review Board, the Homelessness Review Board and the Introductory Tenancy Review Board shall not be transacted unless at least three of the relevant members appointed at resolutions one to three above and the Independent Chairman are present.

6. That the Chairman of the Committee and Councillors Graham and J. Winterton be appointed to the DETR Consultation Papers Response Working Party for 1999/2000.
