V27-1149 : PRECEPT DATES 2000/2001

The report of the Director of Central Services listed the dates for the payment of the 2000/01 precepts following consultation with Suffolk County Council and the Suffolk Police Authority. This was in line with the views previously expressed by this Committee at minute V25-749.

RESOLVED

1. That the precepts to Suffolk County Council and the Suffolk Police Authority be paid in 12 equal instalments with all being in equal pounds except the first payment.

2. That these instalments be paid on the 15th day of each month or the immediately following banking day where the 15th falls on a non banking day.

3. That any adjustments for surpluses or deficits on the Collection Fund be made in two equal instalments with the May and November precept payments.
