V27-1128 : SPONSORSHIP OF ORGANICS ON-LINE

The report of the Chief Executive set out an approach by a wide consortium to help in the sponsorship of Organics On-Line, an Objective 5b project that would be running across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

The project would provide a central brokerage system for producers and buyers of organic produce and was designed to increase the production and sales of organic produce by local suppliers.

RECOMMENDED

That a grant of £400 per annum be awarded for two years to the Organics On-Line project, to begin this financial year, to be met from the Initiatives and Promotions budget.
