V27-1124 : OBJECTIVE 5B AND PESCA END OF PROGRAMME REPORT

The report of the Chief Executive quantified the level of 5b and PESCA European Structural Funding committed to the District's designated areas, and summarised the projects that had been completed, were in progress or underway as a result of European funds attracted to the area.

As the Objective 5b programme had now closed, the full impact of the funding and the resulting projects could now be assessed for the first time.

RESOLVED

That the major impact and success of the East Anglia Objective 5b programme for Waveney be noted, and that regular progress reports on the development of the new Objective 2 programme be presented to the Sub-Committee in the future.
