V27-1098 : ESTATE CARETAKERS
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services sought approval to the establishment of four new Estate Caretaker posts, as recommended by the Housing and Environmental Services Committee at its meeting on 4 November 1999. There was budget provision in 2000/2001 for the posts.
RECOMMENDED
1. That approval be given for the employment of four estate caretakers to be advertised internally and externally.
2. That the Director of Housing and Environmental Services and Director of Central Services, in consultation with the Chairman, be authorised to determine the posts' job description and salary grading.
