V27-1090 : W5346/6 - LAND ADJACENT TO KESTREL HOUSE, PARADISE ROW, WESTON
Application to increase number and nature of vehicles permitted to operate from four to six - variation of Condition 3 of W5346/5.
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that minute V26-1215 authorised the Chief Executive to issue a Breach of Condition Notice and to take all pursuant action in relation to a breach of planning conditions at the above site. This enforcement action had been delayed to allow the applicant sufficient opportunity to find a new base for his vehicles, but he had been unable to do so and was now applying for permission to regularise the use.
The Director felt the application should be refused due to the effect on the landscape and open countryside, residential amenity and road safety and bridleway use. However, because of the employment implications if the business was to close, the Director recommended a site visit.
RESOLVED
That a site visit be held at the location of application W5346/6, and attendance be authorised as an approved duty.
