Application for a single storey front extension.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined a proposal for a 1.2 metre front extension to a centre terrace dwelling encompassing the full width of the property.

The Director felt that as the proposed extension was set within 70 centimetres of the living room serving the neighbouring property it would clearly reduce the light and create a feeling of enclosure. He therefore recommended refusal as submitted.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W3631/1.
