Application for a first floor side extension and Listed Building Consent for internal and external alterations.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned an application for the erection of a first floor shower room over an existing flat roof extension on the side of the property.

The extension would result in some loss of light to a neighbouring property, but could not be regarded as adversely affecting critical living areas, and the Director therefore recommended approval, subject to obscure glazing. A neighbour's objection was reported along with the recommendation of the Town Council for approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission and listed building consent be granted to applications W16935/1 and W16935/2 respectively, subject to obscure glass in the rear window.
