APPLICATION FOR OCCASIONAL PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE

The report of the Chief Executive outlined an application for an Occasional Public Entertainment Licence at the Foxburrow, Yarmouth Road, Lowestoft, for Saturday, 8 January 2000. The times requested were 7.00pm to 1.00am. The event was for approximately 200 guests, with tickets being sold beforehand.

Observations had not yet been received from the Police, Director of Housing and Environmental Services and the Suffolk Fire Service, and the Chief Executive requested delegated authority to issue the Licence if no objections were received, subject to the applicant achieving the required public safety standard.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be given delegated authority to issue an Occasional Public Entertainment Licence to The Foxburrow, Yarmouth Road, Lowestoft, for Saturday 8 January 2000 from 7.00pm to 1.00am, subject to no objections being received and the applicant achieving the required public safety standard for Public Entertainment Licensing to the satisfaction of the Suffolk Fire Service.
