V27-1012 : SPECIAL NEEDS GRASS CUTTING SCHEME 2000

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services reviewed the Special Needs Grass Cutting Scheme since its inception in 1991, and proposed its continuation as the service overall made a valuable contribution to the standard of the estates.

RESOLVED

1. That the Special Needs Grass Cutting Scheme be continued in 2000.

2. That £6,000 be allocated to the Special Needs Grass Cutting Scheme for the purchase of services from Waveney Contract Services.

3. That the Special Needs Grass Cutting Scheme be restricted to front gardens, and any underspend of the budget be utilised to tidy areas identified as causing management problems.
