V26-987 : NVQ ADMINISTRATION LEVEL 2 - AWARD OF CERTIFICATE

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services reminded members of the Council's commitment to a pilot scheme to train four members of staff to become NVQ Assessors for Level 2 in Administration.

Wendy Ling, an Accounts and Rents Assistant in the Department, had been working towards the Award, with the Senior Administration Officer responsible for the assessment process. Wendy was now the first candidate within the Council to have successfully completed and obtained the full Award.

The Chairman took great delight in presenting the Certificate to Wendy and was hopeful that her attainment would be the first of many.
