V26-982 : PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE NO. 62 - KINGS HOTEL, BUNGAY

The report of the Chief Executive sought confirmation of his action to renew the above licence to expire on 31 January 1999 due to time constaints.

At the Licensing Panel meeting held on 18 June 1998 the licence for the above premises was granted to 30 September 1998 to allow a further period of monitoring for noise nuisance to take place. Following observations the Police and Director of Environmental Services had no objection to the licence being renewed to 31 January 1999. Further noise nuisance monitoring would take place once the premises were used again for musical entertainment.

RESOLVED

That the action of the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman, in renewing the Public Entertainment Licence for the Kings Hotel, Bungay to 31 January 1999, be confirmed.
