V26-974 : REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE BUDGET 1998/99

The report of the Director of Central Services and Director of Housing and Environmental Services outlined the current position of the Repairs and Maintenance Budget for 1998/99. This issue, although part of the previous report, was considered separately. There was a projected underspend in Housing Repairs which would lead to an increase in reserves. Members were hopeful that the underspend could be utilised to bring forward the Housing Condition Survey approved in principle at minute V26-369. It was confirmed that a start on the survey was possible before the end of the financial year.

RESOLVED

That the revised Repairs and Maintenance Budget for 1998/99 be approved.
