V26-973 : HOUSING INVESTMENT PROGRAMME 1998/99

The report of the Director of Central Services and the Director of Housing and Environmental Services outlined the current position of the Housing Investment Programme for 1998/99.

Page four of the report showed a revision of expenditure in light of the projected underspend mentioned in the previous item. The underspend could be switched to other programmes such as the window replacement and central heating schemes. The Director of Central Services drew members attention to the need to look at the Capital Receipts Initiative for the future, as this was likely to be performance linked.

RESOLVED

That the revised Housing Investment Programme be approved.
