V26-972 : RENOVATION GRANTS

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services gave the current position in respect of Renovation Grants. The Director reported a slight increase from the advertising campaign in respect of the grants, but the overall picture still presented a likely underspend.

It was anticipated that a return to a full level of staffing in Occupational Therapists could see the Disabled Facilities Grants rise for the second half of 1998/99. The Director had authority to vire any underspend from Renovation Grants to cover any overspend in Disabled Facilities Grants if necessary.

RESOLVED

That the Renovation Grants progress report be received.
