V26-894 : ECONOMIC PROJECTS OFFICER - OBJECTIVE 5B TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

The report of the Chief Executive advised members that a joint bid with Suffolk County Council seeking funds for the post of the Economic Projects Officer from Objective 5b sources as technical assistance support had been successful. The bid had secured funding amounting to £19,414, a grant rate of 50% of eligible costs, from May 1997 to December 1999.

RESOLVED

That the receipt of Objective 5b funding for the Economic Projects Officer be welcomed, and a detailed report on the postholder's activity be presented to the next meeting of the Lowestoft Partnership Joint Panel.
