V26-875 : CENTRAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT POST

The report of the Director of Central Services examined the establishment of the Development Team of the IT Division, pending the loss of an existing postholder. (Para. 1)

RESOLVED

1. That a vacant post be advertised externally and either filled on its present terms or by two posts, an Applications Development Officer and a trainee Applications Development Officer.

2. That the fixed term contract for another post be extended by a further year to 31 March 2000.

3. That a sum not exceeding £2,500 be approved for external consultancy to assist with downsizing the mainframe system.
