V26-869 : APPOINTMENT OF AIR FESTIVAL STAFF
The report of the Director of Community Services related the success of the Lowestoft Sea Front Air Festival for the last two years, and proposed the establishment of the posts of Air Display Co-ordinator and Air Festival Administrator to improve the management of 1999 and 2000 Festivals, to be funded by 5B grant and the existing budget.
The Community Services Committee had considered a detailed report on the 1998 Air Festival at its meeting on 8 October 1998, and requested that this Sub-Committee recommend the creation and filling of the above posts.
RECOMMENDED
That the posts of Air Display Co-ordinator and Air Festival Administrator be advertised and filled, on two year fixed term contracts, to be funded from the 5B grant and existing budget.
