V26-849 : W12359/1 AND /2 - 10B SOUTH GREEN, SOUTHWOLD
Application for replacement doors to south elevation, and listed building consent for internal alterations, replacement windows and doors and alterations to roof.
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned the above retrospective application to which two letters of objection had been received concerned with replacement French doors which had been painted in a colour which did not match that on the adjoining property. Visually the main difference between the two sets of doors was that the transoms on 10 South Green were thicker and the panes at the top had been painted with a heavier hand. The building had been painted slightly more yellow than No. 10 and the basement flat. Overall the alterations were not considered to be damaging to the appearance or fabric of this listed building, and the recommendation of the Director was for approval.
RESOLVED
That planning permission and listed building consent be granted to applications W12359/1 and W12359/2 respectively.
