V26-83 : SUFFOLK STRUCTURE PLAN REVIEW - DRAFT FOR CONSULTATION

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control considered the draft review of the Suffolk Structure Plan which had been published by the County Council for consultation. The Plan set out the strategic planning framework to guide development in the County over the period to 2016 and in particular housing provision figures for each District over the time period.

The Chairman reminded members that the document had been fully discussed and comments noted at the recent Waveney Local Plan Panel meeting. Any additional comments should be notified to the Director of Planning and Building Control.

RESOLVED

That the Director of Planning and Building Control, in consultation with the Chairman of Planning and Transportation Committee, be given authority to forward to the County Council comments contained in the report and any arising from an appraisal of the background papers.
