Application for two storey front extension.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned a proposal to extend the front of the above property to form an extended lounge at ground floor level, and to extend out the same distance at first floor level to create two larger bedrooms. The extension was modest, and the effect on either of the adjoining properties was minimal. In design terms the appearance of the property at the front would be quite different, however surrounding properties were quite varied in both size and design, making the change of appearance acceptable. The Director recommended approval.

That planning permission be granted to application W17127.
