Application for extension to form granny annexe.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned the above very large extension to the front of an existing detached property, providing substantial accommodation over an extended garage block. The extension would be very dominant in the street scene and would be likely to lead to pressure for establishment of yet another housing unit in the future. The area was semi-rural and had relatively poor road access, and the Director recommended refusal.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W11626/13.
