Application for alterations to approved plans - Variation of Condition 2 of W8271/3.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned a scheme deferred at the last meeting of the Committee for consideration of late changes to the plans. The proposed alterations included the style of windows and increasing their number from three to four, reorganisation of internal layout and two additional roof lights and a steel flue in the eastern roof slope.

The Town Council recommended refusal due to the alterations being overdevelopment. However, the Director felt the alterations proposed should have little additional impact on the building as approved, the residential amenity of the surrounding dwellings or the Conservation Area. No additional objections had been raised by neighbours over and above those already submitted, and the recommendation of the Director was for approval subject to appropriate conditions.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W8271/5, subject to appropriate conditions.
