V26-800 : W14482/5 - LAND ADJOINING CHURCH FARM, RINGSFIELD
Application for erection of general purpose agricultural building.
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that the above application had been deferred at the last meeting of the Committee for further clarification of the intended usage of the building. The applicant had stated that, whilst the building was designed as a general purpose building, there was a possibility it may be used for the stabling of horses.
The applicant was prepared to reduce the span of the building by 0.6m and the length from 24m to 18m, and the Highway Authority wanted to see a turning circle on the site. The County Archaeological Unit requested a watching brief when the foundations were dug in case of any archaeological finds. The recommendation of the Director was for approval subject to agricultural use of the building only.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be granted to application W14482/5, subject to use for agricultural purpose only.
