V26-80 : SOUTH EAST ANGLIA PORTS LOCAL AUTHORITY GROUP
The report of the Chief Executive outlined progress with the establishment of the South East Anglia Ports Local Authority Group (SEAPLAG) which would address the role of ports within an integrated transport system in the South East. Mr Alan Whitehead MP had been elected Chairman, and Waveney's Mr Bob Blizzard, Vice-Chairman. The Chief Executive felt that at the moment attendance with a watching brief was desirable.
RESOLVED
That the Council continue to participate in the SEAPLAG organisation, with the Chief Executive or his nominee being the officer representative.
