V26-791 : W17118 - 8 ASHTREE CLOSE, WORLINGHAM

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned the above application for a first floor extension which was granted planning permission at the last meeting.

At that meeting slides illustrating the proposal included a photograph of the pair of houses on the far side of this road. The objectors argued that members would have gained a misleading impression from this. The Committee was therefore shown slides of the correct pair of houses, together with the slides shown at the previous meeting, and was asked to consider whether the difference in the design of the houses would have affected its decision, or whether it wished to confirm the approval for the extension.

Members felt that their decision would not have been different had only the correct pair of houses been shown to them, and resolved to stand by their original decision.

RESOLVED

That the planning permission granted to application W17118 at minute V26-637 be confirmed.
