V26-79 : SUPPLEMENTARY GUIDANCE TO CLARIFY

LOCAL PLAN POLICIES

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control considered existing local plan policies, in light of a recent planning appeal decision concerning the legal interpretation of Policy TM2, which could possibly be open to a similar interpretation.

RESOLVED

1. That option 3 regarding adopting revised policies as Supplementary Planning Guidance, as set out at paragraph 3.5 in the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control, be pursued.

2. That revisions to policies TM1, TM2, TM3, TM4, TM5, TM6, TM7, TM8, LOW10 and LOW12 be adopted as policy and for development control purposes, as set out in Appendix 2 "Revised Policies", until the plan is re-examined at the time of the Local Plan review.
