V26-757 : ROMAN HILL TENANTS' AND RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION ESTATE AGREEMENT

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services detailed a request from the Roman Hill Tenants' and Residents' Association to enter into an estate agreement.

Members were reminded that this was an agreement between a landlord and other service providers and the residents' with regard to the priorities, service standards and contact arrangements for that particular area. Such an agreement would be a valuable tool in CCT and in due course Best Value, as it would formalise the service provided for tenants and confirm the Council's commitment to tenant participation, particularly as this was one of the Governments stated aims.

RESOLVED

That an estate agreement with Roman Hill Tenants' and Residents' association be pursued as a pilot project, and upon finalisation of the agreement, a further report be brought to Committee.
