V26-74 : STREET CLEANSING SERVICE - ANNUAL REPORT

The report of the Director of Community Services summarised the operation and achievements of the Street Cleansing Service during 1997/98 and set out initiatives for improving the service.

The Community Services Committee was also to consider this report at its meeting on 21 May 1998.

RESOLVED

1. That the service improvements for the Street Cleansing Service as detailed in the report of the Director of Community Services be adopted for future years.

* Affects the Services of more than one Committee.

2. That the employees in the Contracts Management Section, Community Services Department and Waveney Contract Services be congratulated on the standards of service provided
