V26-731 : LOWESTOFT SCORES IMPROVEMENTS AND TOURIST TRAIL

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control detailed the proposed package of works for environmental improvements, public art and a tourist trail around the Lowestoft Scores, as an additional £128,000 of Objective 5b funding had been secured.

The Director of Central Services pointed out that amongst the matching funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage, Bettatravel plc and Suffolk County Council, Waveney's contribution of £64,850 included the use of £20,000 from the Flotilla of Sails budget.

RESOLVED

1. That the Lowestoft Scores Improvements and Tourist Trail Project be approved and progressed as set out in the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control.

2. That a sum of £20,000 from the Flotilla of Sails budget be transferred to assist with the Lowestoft Scores Improvements and Tourist Trail Project.
