V26-727 : HOLLY TREE, TRINITY HALL, BUNGAY - TREE PRESERVATION ORDER No. 259
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined a request from the owner of Trinity Hall to fell a holly tree on the north-eastern boundary of his property. After inspection, the Director was of the opinion that the tree, whilst undoubtedly close to buildings, was of valuable contribution to the Conservation Area. The Council's Landscape Advisor was also concerned that removal of the tree could have an adverse affect on the bungalow at 1 Staithe Close. He recommended lifting and thinning the crown of the tree. A Tree Preservation Order was subsequently imposed, to which the owner objected. RESOLVED
That Tree Preservation Order No. 259 (Land at Trinity Hall, Bungay) be confirmed.
