V26-721 : PREMIER DRIVERS - VEHICLE BADGE

The report of the Chief Executive concerned an application by a taxi driver that authority be given to display a badge, similar in size to a vehicle taxation disc, on the windscreen of the vehicle to indicate that the driver had successfully completed the Customer Care Course.

RESOLVED

That a condition be introduced allowing the display of a badge on the windscreen of a hackney carriage to indicate that the driver had successfully completed the Customer Care course, subject to a suitable badge design being produced to the satisfaction of the Chief Executive.

The meeting was concluded at 7.05 pm.
