Application for reduction in size of window to match others.
The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for refusal, as the proposal would involve the loss of a traditional feature and it would be very hard to match new brickwork to old. The observation of the Town Council was for approval. The applicants advised that they wished to replace the old shop window to reduce noise and fumes from passing traffic.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be refused to application W2546/7.
