V26-526 : GARAGE SITE - PENNYFIELDS, BUNGAY

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services advised that the above garages had been inspected under Programmed Maintenance and were considered to be beyond economic repair.

Rather than allow the garages to fall into further disrepair, it was recommended that the site be made available as a building plot, which the Director of Planning and Building Control considered would accommodate one detached dwelling.

RESOLVED

1. That the garage tenancies at Pennyfields, Bungay be terminated, and the site disposed of on the open market.

2. That, where possible, the Council tenants inconvenienced by the loss of their garage, be offered dropped kerb facilities, to locate their vehicles on their property.
