Application for the development of reed beds.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this proposal would increase the areas of open water by excavation and also the proportion of reed beds from 15 to 40%. The waste materials produced by this action would be used to create bunds; he recommended approval. The Parish Council also recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W16950.

(Councillor Ley declared an interest in the above item and left the room during the debate).
