V26-503 : PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON ARBOR LANE, LOWESTOFT
The report of the Director of Community Services gave details a section of unadopted road in Arbor Lane which was narrow and potholed and particularly hazardous in wet weather when ponding occurred.
Since the introduction of the McDonalds drive-through restaurant at the western end of Arbor Lane, there was also the likelihood that extra traffic may now be encountered. It was therefore proposed that a Traffic Regulation Order be made to prohibit vehicles on the unadopted piece of Arbor Lane shown on drawing 101279. One objection was reported, but this could be overcome by an alternative route using Grayson Avenue.
RESOLVED
That a Traffic Regulation Order be implemented on the section of Arbor Lane, Lowestoft shown on drawing 101279, on the grounds of the surface being unsuitable to carry through traffic, and to protect the safety of residents.
